Designing work that has to hold together in real time.

Events bring together budgets, vendors, physical spaces, timelines, guest experience, and people who need to act at the right moment. The date does not move because an instruction was unclear. In my event work, the visible result was a cohesive experience; the work underneath it was planning dependencies and preparing for change.

The work

I coordinated vendors and logistics, translated a creative direction into executable plans, defined roles and timing, and made decisions as conditions changed. The recurring question was what needed to be clear before the event so the people running it could respond without reconstructing the plan in the moment.

What it shows

Good systems make room for real life. They give people enough structure to act and enough clarity to adapt when the plan meets the room. This story describes prior experience; a named event, venue, or quantified result would require separate verification and permission.
